I wouldn’t go epoxy for that, it’s very hard, will not flex well, and don’t do well with UV.
Do a small test to see how it goes.
There is another solution that would be way easier : do a flat deck, then paint with some non skid additive where you want some. There are numerous videos on Youtube on the subject.
Since your deck is brand new, I think this is the way I would go.
